Our school is a community, and there are lots of ways for families to get involved and play a part in school life.
Whether you have a few minutes to spare, would like to support a particular activity, or want to help shape the wider school community, your involvement is always valued.
There are lots of different ways to take part:
Class Representatives
Our Class Representatives help to connect families with the school and with one another. They provide an opportunity for parents and carers to share ideas, raise questions and help build a strong sense of community within each class.
PTA – OPPTA
Our Parent Teacher Association, OPPTA, plays an important part in school life. Through fundraising, events and community activities, the PTA helps to provide additional opportunities and resources for our children while bringing families together.
Everyone is welcome to get involved, whether you can volunteer regularly or simply support an event when you can.
Parent View
Your views matter to us. Parent View provides an opportunity for parents and carers to share their experiences of the school and contribute to the wider picture of how our school is doing. You can do this here https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/
Parent Surveys
From time to time, we ask parents and carers for their views through surveys and questionnaires. Your feedback helps us understand what we are doing well and where we can continue to improve.
We encourage all families to take part when surveys are shared.
OPSF Voluntary Fund
The OPSF Voluntary Fund provides another way for families to support the school and enhance the experiences and opportunities available to our children. Click here to find out more
Thank you for being part of our school community
There is no single way to get involved. Whether you volunteer your time, share your views, support a school event or simply take part in community activities, every contribution makes a difference.
