Year Three Visit to the Science Museum

Year Three had a great day exploring the forces exhibits in the museum

Last Friday, the 7th January, Year 3 went on a visit to the Science Museum. We had a great day exploring the forces exhibits in the museum, sketching the patterns on tyres that create friction as well as identifying objects that can fly through the air and in space. The best part of the day was the Forces workshop that we took part in. We really enjoyed watching the Hollywood stunt artist demonstrate Newton's Laws of Motion in an entertaining way. This was a great way to bring together the work we have been doing in the classroom.

Bartu: It was fun searching for the answers to the trail.

Imogen: I liked the fact that there was a real piece of the moon.

Maia: I liked the workshop because Phil the Frog fell out of his lamboughini

Jonah: I liked the workshop when Phil the Frog went on the skateboard.
