Year Three took part in their Safer Walking Training run by the Richmond Upon Thames Road Safety Team
Last week, Year 3 took part in their Safer Walking Training run by the Richmond upon Thames Road Safety Team. The children took to the local roads and over three sessions learnt basic road safety techniques like where to cross safely, how to use crossings correctly and dangerous places to cross on roads. Each child received a badge on completion of their training and learnt a lot over the three sessions. The Year 3 teachers were all very proud of how the children conducted themselves out of school and members of the training team commented on the children's superb behaviour. If anybody needs help crossing the road in the future, ask a Year 3 child!
