Last Tuesday, three year five pupils embarked on a creative writing workshop called the Cabinet of Curiosities at Hampton school.
The workshop provided the children with the opportunity to let their imaginations run wild. Teams of pupils were provided with a ‘cabinet of curiosities’ ranging from feathers to gems and butterflies to wands. The pupils worked through a range of exciting activities to produce their own story based around one of the objects, developing their creative flair and their writing skills along the way.
A selection of stories were then read out loud to the audience of pupils, teachers and parents.
