YEAR 4 DRAMA HUT SESSION

Last week, as part of our History topic, Year 4 received a visit from Astrid the Viking. We used our bodies to create objects from Viking History. We learnt a lot about Viking culture and discovered the reasons why Vikings invaded England in 793AD. We sang some traditional Viking songs and we even imagined what life was like on a longship travelling from Denmark to England. We also solved some traditional Viking riddles and created some freeze frames to represent some Viking gods and goddesses. It was so much fun!
